Hunter is so excited this birthday is here. He gets to leave Primary, get the priesthood, go to young men's and just be a big kid. Hunter is definitly a unique person with a funny personality. He makes me laugh, I really enjoy being his Mom. He has really excelled in school this year and thrives on the responsibility that comes with getting older and being the oldest in our small family. I love you Hunter and I am so proud of you. I look forward to all the great things that you will do.

I love fall
Punkin Patch
I love Fall. I love going to pick our own pumpkins from a field. I love to watch Hunter walk and hunt the whole field till he has found the biggest. Lexie is pleased with any of them and Kallie wants them all.

I love the changing of the seasons and this fall has brought a lot of changes. After 24 years of working for the Murdock Auto Group, Cort is making a change and is going to work for Barber Brothers. He started working in their Orem Mitsubishi store on the 13th. So, we are putting our house for sale and are moving to Utah County. The kids are doing really great and tell me we are moving at Christmas. So, we will see...

Too busy for little details
I have let my children pick out their own clothes and only interfere if a belly or more body parts down south are showing(Some low rise are just too low). I try to let them have control over this and for the most part they do a great job.
Today as we are rushing to meet the bus, I mentioned to Kallie that her shorts were pink and her shirt was lavender. She replied, "yea I know, don't they look so cute" I replied you are cute and I thought it was so funny how sure and matter of fact she answered me- so I let it go and let her wear her outfit. When she got home, we were talking I noticed that one sleeve was cut off and the other was long... I have been working on a memory quilt that is made of my kids baby clothes and have been known to raid their closet looking for a coordinating fabric or a way to get rid of a shirt that I don't really like, and this is this case with her shirt she wore today!!
I only needed a couple pieces and didn't cut the whole shirt up. She must have saw it on in my room and wahla...Her outfit for today!!

The first day of school-
The first day of school is so exciting. So exciting, I forgot to take the girls pictures before they left for school. oops! I was a little anxious waiting for them to return home . We had some big milestones today and as exciting as they are, I was a little sad. We had Kallie off to first grade, Hunter to middle school and Lexie for the first time without the security of Hunter being in the same school. All went well and they came home with big smiles and ready to do it again tomorrow.

It has taken my breath away with how fast summer break has gone. We did so many fun things and still have a lot left to do. One thing I didn't plan is that I would miss our silly dog-- a lot!!
Hunter Lexie and kallie each made a scrapbook all about Daisie for 4-H and they did so well at fair, but when they would work on them, it would make me cry. Cort told me no more dogs-but for my birthday, I asked....
He is such a sweetie, he came through and we just got my present today!! Mollie Murdock.
The kids excitment was so worth it and I love to see them take such good care of this tiny baby.

Sheri, Lynette and Connie and Stew came and helped us lay sod on Friday and we are so excited to have it in and the kids can't wait to play on it. It was tough and we were tired and filthy after, but it looked so much better. We had pizza and just relaxed!! I will take a picture of the finished product and post it later.

Thanks to Joe, my parents and Ben and Lisa, we were able to get our sprinkling system in super fast. We braved the elements and Dad came down with a bad cold after-sorry Dad, but it is awesome to have it done!! We really appreciate all the hard work!!
Dad, Ben Hicks and Hunter dug down through the clay and rocks about 3.5 feet. Lexie and Shalee Price were great helpers by bringing water and picking up rocks.
